Shane and I were riding last week and we both PR’ed BoFax and decided you should get a gold star to advertise to other riders that you just PR’ed a hard segment when they pass you. So I made these silly shiny gold star stickers and I’m planning 2 things for them:
- Carry a few with me on rides and give them out to my friends to stick on themselves after they get a PR
- Stash little stacks of them in secret spots at the top of classic Bay Area climbs (Hawk, BoFax, East Peak, etc.). I have to figure out how to keep them safe from the weather and also hidden from random people/park rangers etc and also how to let bike people know where to find them. A work in progress 🙂
